I just bought a 1999 700LXDC w/ the 120 Force about a week ago. It was a repo that had sat outside since being repossessed and has some small decals that are weathered. I need new covers for the backs of the two fishing seats as two of the letters in "NITRO" are missing. Can I just get the cover that snaps over or would I have to buy a whole seat? Other than that, it is in great shape. It could use a good waxing and cleaning from exposure. I have only had it out once and it did very well. This is my first bass boat and got it for a good price ($5,500), which helped smooth things over with the wife-to-be. Thanks.

Welcome to the board, John!

John,

That "MY BOAT" feeling is great. Welcome to "our" corner of the web. Get the info on the opening page for the Rally and try to join us in April on Kentucky Lake.

John...good boat at a great price! Congratulations!

I have the same rig with the Merc 115. You will like that Force 120. It is well behaved. Just be sure to mix the oil/gas correctly, keep the plugs clean, and it will be a faithful motor.

Welcome to the board!!!

I also bought a repo boat that sat outside in the sun for about 1.5 years.... a good waxing and it looks like new!!! Good Luck!!!

Thanks for the input. Just got finished putting 303 protectant on some of the plastic. Did pretty good, made my mouse hard to handle now though. Also, my depth finder works but wasn't displaying depth or fish when I had it out. It was scanning though. Haven't had a chance to mess with it yet. Greg, going to try to go to Ky. Lake in Dec. and will try to get there in April. I lived on Barkley from almost a year but had to move. Thanks, John.

Hey whats up?? Welcome to the the board. You will find this to be the BEST place on the web for everything Tracker and Nitro. Really a good group of guys and girls on here. Any way I live in Richmond a few miles south of Lex. We should hook up and go to Herrington or Cumberland sometime, I have heard good things about C-Land this time of year.

Good to hear. Donnie, I'm in Shelbyville commuting to Lex. and Georgetown as I'm alternating semesters at Toyota and UK. Went to C-land about 3 weeks ago, windy and cool, only caught 1 about 2 lbs. Bad part about it, I was with a buddy on his Triton TR-186 w/ 150 Merc, which he runs WOT at all times. We hit some wakes from a cross wind and went for a pretty wild ride. At some point I lost my tackle bag, which was right between us. I was just trying to keep my own butt in the boat and didn't even notice. BAD day. In the process of restocking but no where near where I was. Anyhow, thanks for the input and I don't know what's up with the Tub. Always tried to stick with him, but I'm starting to get to where I'm ready for someone else. P.S. I haven't heard many good things about the "Dead Sea" i.e. Herrington, but willing to try it out.

Welcome aboard I have a98 model with a 90hp been a good boat you'll love it also good on gas.

I fished the dead sea back in a tourny back in July. I caught a bunch of fish but all were 1/2 shy of being keepers. Same as you I have tried to keep a positive attitude with Tubby but something has to change, I can't handle another ten loss season. How is the fishing at Taylorsville these days?? Haven't been there in a while.

Donnie

I fished it about a month and a half ago, and caught 4. Only 1 was a keeper. I you want to go sometime let me know and we'll try 'em out. The Cats played a good half a game last night, as usual.

Hey John,

Congrats on the new boat and finding this site.

Hang on and enjoy the ride,

Marke
