So I bought a pro charging systems 2 bank on board battery charger today. I'm replacing the original promariner promite 5. My question is where should I install the new charger? The promite was pretty small and mounted in the battery compartment vertically on the side wall just under the deck. The new charger is twice as big and twice as heavy. They recommend to mount it flat in a dry area, or if on a side wall it needs to have plenty of support. Where does everyone mount there's. Any pictures would be helpful. On, I have a 2008 nitro 750 sc. Should I mount it on the transom supports? They include screws, and im always nervous about drilling or screwing into any part of my boat. Would the transom be a safe place? Thanks, sorry so long.

I mount my onboard charging system on a sturdy wood cut fitted on top between the battery...and screw a couple screw in...not sure if everyone has it this way but it seem to be working out good...
