Quieter isn't always better....when a buddy put a new 4-stroke on his duck hunting rig we were constantly starting the engine while it was already running!!



 
A PAIR of motors pushing at 65mph? Is that 18k for the pair or individually? What kind of boat did it take two of them to push at 65mph? To answer the original question... 18k for one motor is too much, period.
 
How big of a boat can handle the wieght of 1 or 2 of these 4 Stroke motors?? Bet you need a 1 ton pickup to trailer it>>>.

They look rather big. Will we have to pay 5k more these engines and 3k more for a boat with a transom strong enough to handle the extra weight.
 
From what i have read about these motors they should weigh in pretty close to the optimax motors of similar horsepower so weight shouldnt be much of an issue.
