new ladder 97 700 lxdc

I just ordered a new ladder from Nitro 97 700 lxdc ,listed as a option on the web site as an option for $150.00 U.S.,$371.00 Canadian, ouch, oh well gotta keep the wife happy, has anybody installed this on a 700, how hard? am i going to have the dealer do it?, i am pretty handy but putting holes in the boat scares me!

I would like to have a ladder for winter days. I talked to a guy one time who told me he fell in on a cold winter day with full winter gear on. He said he thought he would never be able to pull himself back up. A real close call. He said he would never fish alone without PFD and a ladder. I always think about him when I'm out alone.

The kit is supposed to come with all attaching parts, I just hope it comes with a template for the holes!
