Not sure if I've posted before or not, so I'm just going to do it again. Traded my motorcycle for a boat last year. 1989 Maxum 1700 w/ 85 Force outboard. Been kind of a nightmare getting this thing on the water. Guy that traded us pretty much deceived us. But we learn from our mistakes, right? Anyway, some parts are next to impossible to get. Had to do my own type of mod to seal the shift rod. That was fun. Now I've got a leaky carb (see picture) that I've got to figure out. Had it on the water a couple of days and had an absolute blast. A little more patience and we'll be good. My daughter says "we're becoming boat people". Lol
