I am starting the quest for a new boat sometime between now and next spring. I had decided on one of the 9 series boats until I read several weeks ago about manufactoring problems of the newer boats. I scanned through the recent msg's and could not find an update, does anyone have any further info on this problem at Nitro....thks jack

I have not heard of any manufacturing problems for the 9 series Nitros...and I would be one of the first to know.

Here are the problems I have:

1. It goes too fast.

2. It stores too much tackle.

3. It handles rough water too well.

4. The casting decks are too big.

5. EVERYTHING works.

6. Just too many sparkles.

If NITRO doesn't get these bugs worked out, I'll never buy another one.

TOXIC

Bought a 2002 901 this past spring...

I have to agree with Toxic's assesment, it is a great boat!

This is my third new boat in as many years, (Nitro NX750, Triton TR186 and this one) and I am sticking with this one.

Where did you read about "manufacturing problems"?? While this site is certainly biased in favor of the Tracker/Nitro brand, there is alot of honesty to be had here. Other sites seem to be more rumor mills than anything.

It use way to much gas! LOL

Has a lifetime Hull waranty

Bass just Jump into the boat and give up. - They think your Kevin VanDamm.

It Eats Tin for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Everyone thinks your a Pro.

Ranger owners laugh at you at the ramp untill you blow past them and they eat your wake.

You still have money left over for gas and equipment - See Ranger comment

It come in Red, white and Blue. Way to cool

and Last but not least, Rob will be jealous

Jack,

I have a 02' 911 and Love it, great ride and control, mine is slow (the way I like it) because I went with a 200 efi, But fuel economy is great. I have put all my tackle and gear in it and still have empty hatches, good luck

I just bought an 01 911 with 225 Optimax. Best boat I have ever owned or ridden. It's 400 lbs heavier than some of the others but it will pass them with style. It's in the design; it's just better! I was concerned I was making a mistake but I've never enjoyed any other boat like this one. Good fishing.
