Was at dealer today to pick up a new impeller for my 9.9. He said Nitro called yesterday and said the new 911 would be off the line next wed, the 30th. We figure 7 to 10 days later it should be at the dealer, a week to rig it, and I should be able to pick it up around mid month.... Geeze this feels like it takes forever - I gotta quit orderin boats in the middle of the summer....

Jim-

It'll all be worth it once she's sittin in the driveway!!!

hang in there!

thanks, Andy. At least I still got the Tracker so it's not like I'm boatless. Just impatient -- I'm runnin out of things to piddle with on the Tracker - might have to actually go fishin tomorrow....!!!!

Jim, there are a couple of 911's for sale here. I know they aren't new, but they don't cost as much as a new one either :). If you get more than 65mph (gps), I wanna know.

Thanks, Mike, but I made the decision to buy new back in late June and ordered the boat then. I'll let you know how it gps's when I get it broke in. In fact, I'll have pictures and set up info in my library when I get the data. My boy keeps telling me of one he knows of locally that "claims" 78 on gps. I'm a bit (a lot) skeptical, but I told him to go find out what the set up is. Everything I personally know of in our area is mid to late 60's...

I can get 90 GPS out of mine. Of course, that's with my Silverado pulling it downhill :). I've hit 63 a few times, and think I might make 65 once it cools off.
