Well, just got back from my dealer. You will recall my survey on Avalanche vs 896? Just couldn't make up my mind, so I went with the 911 instead!!! w/225efi, upgrade on trolling motor, spare tire, hot foot and Teleflex trim, keel gard, and metal flake paint job. Dealer is going to broker my Sea Ray which gives me $3,000 more than I expected. His price was also $600 less than I had calculated... Of course, we have to wait several weeks for Nitro to build it. Don't expect it before 1st of Aug. This is going to be a loooooong summer followed by a very short fall....!!!! Thanks for all the input and help with my decison process... This board really rocks!!!

ps.. When it gets here the PT175 w/75 goes on the board...

O.K. Jim....what was the final determining factor in your decision? I still like that Avalanche...

For the most part it was the seating, Tee. I fish a lot with my son and when both our wives go along I need 4 seats. Of course, I have to admit going for the looks too. Either boat should do low 70's with the 175 on the 'Lanche and the 225 on the 911, but I did like the extra length -- we get some big rollers when the wind is up. I also like the idea that you can walk the perimeter without going through the center. The 911 is funny. You either love it or hate it. I've never fished out of one, but have had a ride and they really handle the water great. Either way I don't think I would have been unhappy, but I do really like the seating arrangement...

I really like the design and looks of this boat. Haven't ever had the chance to fish from it, but love the layout.

Great news.

Well you definitely made a good decision...glass or tin. Hope your boat gives ya' years of memories and pleasure!

Good fishin' to ya'

Great choice Jim, for a Glass boat! That is my #1 choice of a bass boat if I ever have that kind of $$ for a boat! Enjoy!

You're gonna like it. I would highly suggest the big TM , 109lb'er, for this boat. The only draw back, it that it seems to catch the wind a little more than other boats. And i would also suggest the trophy propeller over the tempest. I get better speed from the trophy, probably cuz i carry a lot of bass luggage, and the trophy genrates more lift.

That's gonna be a long wait.

You wont regret it. BAR NONE, the best fishibility and rough water handling boat on the market. I have had three of them....

Must have flipped the two headed coin? Congradulations you'll love the boat. Penny Berryman a couple years back had to give up hers and she hated to do that. She really loved her 911, and felt it was one of the best bass boats available on the market.

Wow,...comparing an Av and an 896...then coming home with a 911,....that's a sale they'll talk about for awhile!!..LOL

You'll love the boat!! Good luck!!

Hey Jim...let me know how much ya' want for thet 175. My dad is lookin' for a little smaller boat to haul.

Thanks,

TEE
