Well, in preparing my rods/reels/tackle for the upcoming season, and discussing the whole scenario with my wife; we talked about storing/carrying my 6 allowable rods (co-angler) in the Federation and when I fish co-angler in my local tourneys.
Last year, she made me a number of lure covers (velcro based), that I used. This winter she improved them by sewing in a 'tighter weave nylon' that the hooks do not penatrate as easily.
This past weekend, she attended part of Bassmaster U. with me, but didn't attend on Sunday. When I got home on Sunday evening, my six rods that I had out for my tourney this weekend, were all sitting in the corner with their new 'rod socks' on them. She spent most of the day on Sunday making rod socks for them. Now, I really don't have any concerns for tangles getting them to and from the boats.
Just wanted to leave a public 'thanks', to my longtime wife and partner - Mrs. Tex (Judy). She has put up with my for near 30 years (30th Anniversary this summer).
