What is the formula for finding the approx. weight of a LM/BASS 24 in. long with a girth of 20 in.? Got it today but did not have a scale with us just a tape biggest bass I have ever seen much less caught. THANKS

Greg - First TIN RULES!!! Great fish! I'd guess 6+, as my 22 inch LM was 5lb 13oz.

Trep yes TIN RULES. Have got a lot of 5 & 6# ones & this one could have eaten them. The on line calculator lamar gave me said 12# & I know it was at least 10#. I have gotten 2 at 8# & this one made them look small.Forgot to take camera but I did have my fishing partner as a witness.

Hm-m-m-m-m......

2 feet x 2 feet x 1.66 feet divided by 1200 equals.....

WOW!! Your bass weighed 0.0055 cubic feet!

maybe a river???

...just curious what 'state' he was fishing in...
