Well after most of the day Saturday on the water with my wife driving most of the time while I tubed with the boys, and she wants a Bimini Top. Anyone put one on aftermarket themselves? Need suggestions on companies to look at, material, mounting locations and the like. I want to mount it removable so when I'm fishing with out her or when it's not hot/sunny I can take it off.

I've seen them in catalogs and the web from Cabella's, BPS, OVertons and more. Any input would be appreciated!

Well I have to tell you, the best money I ever spent was on a custom top for my 175 Sport. I paid $425 to have the top made and installed, but I got the exact color I wanted and it is removable. It fits the boat like a glove, in the up or down position. All the hardware is stainless steel. I know it sounds like a lot of money, but consider the price of an ordered one, the shipping cost, and the Saturday you are going to blow installing the thing.

Send Richard Dollish an email about his bimini top. He has pictures of the bimini on his boat in his member profile. It looks good and I think it is an after market.
