Greetings all,
Since the weather is still pretty crappy around here, I thought that I would tell you about a neat place that I went to last weekend. It's called Woodlands Outdoor World in Farmington PA. It's on RT 40 so it's not too far from the MD/WV/PA border. In any event, the place is similar to BPS. Yes, it is smaller but it looks like they stole some ideas and part of the name from BPS. They don't have nearly the selection but they do have a lot of stuff. From the looks of the building and parking lot, the place must be brand new. It seems like Shimano is the "lead brand" in the store. I bought some lower end Shimano spinning reels for the kids rods for $15.
They are having their Spring Sale until April 6th. I thought it was worth the trip, I spent $100 without even looking too hard. Here's a lint to their site.
