Important thing is everyone is ok. Caught fire sometime in the middle of the night. They are attempting to determine cause. About as bad as boat, is all my tackle, rods and reels were in the boat.

Sorry to hear of this. I am very glad everyone is ok and hope damage was limited to boat and not home. Just curious, did the transom burn and the motor fall off.

The motor is lying on ground behind boat. Had an aluminum jack plate that completely melted. Of course transom was burned so badly that it would not have supported weight of motor either.
