As you all know, I am the General Manager for the Tracker/Nitro Boat Division at BPS in MI. Our board is scanned by members of both Tracker and BPS Corporate offices.

I know the false aliases are all done in jest, but in today's litigous society, something that is posted by someone else with my alias could be misconstrued, taken out of context, or perceived to be discriminatory.

Please don't use my name when posting messages...

I hope I don't offend anybody, but we all have to cover our arses every now and then....

Now back to our regularly scheduled program!!!

Sorry big dog. Would never mean to get you in doo-doo! I won't mess with your name any more. But Mac is still fair game right? But in all fairness, you should have thought twice before messing with me on the way out to the rally! But I'll stop now. No need to get any feather ruffled that don't know the likes of us on the board!

Hey since the fun is over. Can you get me that foam flotations stuff or does BPS even carry it? I will buy it from the company in the link below, but will go with BPS if it's cheaper. Never could find it in any catalogs. It's the 2 part expansion flotation foam for filling voids, like in my head. LOL

I am actually a bit surprised that the alias is so easy to "spoof"...

maybe the board-dude can fix it, so that your alias is tied to your password...

Sim, there are 2 or 3 Robs here, imagine it. A couple of Marks, it would be hard I think.

That's why I changed my alias from Mark to CanoeGuide1 to MOFish. Another Mark signed on and it got confusing. I didn't know if I was coming or going.

Ken's comments are well-taken. (This coming from someone who once impersonated a candidate for the presidency of the United States!)

HEY, HE IS going to be prez one day! Think we're kidding huh? The movement has started. This is bigger than all of us now! You can't stop destiny!

You can't stop a freight train neither. That's why I don't stand in front of one.

(Or, if it was TOXIC running for Prez, I wouldn't stand behind one either!)

It wouldn't be that hard, the board already knows my member name and email address. Should be able to track my alias as well.

just a suggestion...

I have to admit, I feel for Ken. He is truly an asset to Tracker. No question. They need more like him. But unfortunately he is here in part for work and so has to follow Tracker policy while here I imagine. In today's politically correct world, there are always people waiting to have a fit for anything and everything under the sun. We all need somewhere we can go to "let our hair down" as my wife says, or just be ourselves. Laugh, joke, pick....in fun of course, and just goof off. Life is far too serious every day. No need to make it more serious. I have to PC all day at work and in front of clients. I come here to let loose a little and have fun with people I know can take it and give it back freely. But again, there are those that monitor the board maybe with Tracker, maybe not, and may for one reason or another find some reason to make particular issue of what we say. For them, I wish the best, but in reality we cannot do or say anything that would jeopardize our friends here simply because somebody has chosen to use "ammo" supplied by us. I apologize if anyone took offense to my alias comments. I look back and don't really see anything controversial. At least not compared to what I may have posted in the past. But again, many folks today just don't need much of a reason. I will admit, if it gets so bad that it's not fun here anymore, and we all have to walk on egg shells for fear of offending someone with our mere presence, then it's time to take the fun elsewhere. But again no foul intent Ken, and if anyone takes offense with anything I said, send them to me. You should not have to answer for anyone's actions but your own. Gee that goes back to my "what do with Randy" response.

No offense taken at all, and nobody has said anything to me about it, I just wanted to be a little proactive just in case!!!

PC, CYA, etc...oh and can't forget this one ROTFLMPCJNO!!!

We can abbreviate all we want! LOL Or was that inibriate?

Ken...

Your "JNs" are "PC"? Mine are TOO big to be PC!

Ken - Was out having to actualy WORK all last week in Boulder, so missed this post and the one you referred to (went back and read it). I DO remember Doug P. getting into a little hot water from Tracker because of Jest/Fun on this board, so I understand! You are a good friend and a valuable resource to a lot of us Tracker/Nitro owners, we LOVE ya MAN!

Now about getting on 1/2 time with you to help Marke sell boats!!! LOL
