Here are some of the people I have to fish against. Some big names, and some local big names that are a personal "to beat" benchmark.

Alabama

KEY, JAMES

Your just lucky that my name's not in that list...LOL

I hope and pray you leave them ALL in the dust at the weigh-in...Remember, you are "Our Guy"...So, we are all rootin' for ya....Tight lines and heavy bag!!!

Assume you're referring to lake champlain Everstart -- Are you fishing as a pro or co-angler? I will be there as a co-angler...

Any advice for a fellow nitro owner?

David

Are you planning to fish on Tuesday? Maybe we could prefish together, I will be getting in sometime Tuesday morning...

David

David,

I am fishing the pro side. I am going down this weekend to pre-fish, but will not get there Tuesday until the pre-tourney meeting. I would love to help you, but you can't use any info I give you, as both you and the pro you draw could be DQ'd. Also, I need my spots for this one. Very limited water down there. But look for me for sure. I will have a white Bravada and Buzz's 896.

Jon, my game face is already on. I'm going to the top 10! I want that new boat. It's in God's hands now. I only noted a few people I really would like to be able to say I beat. Ricky Doyle of Keeseville NY, lives down the road from my mother-in-law and is a local name everyone recognizes. I want MY name to be one people recognize. This has been my dream since I was a boy, and now I'm doing it! If anyone has any Nitro shirts they could loan me for a week, it would be appreciated. I only own 1 tourney shirt, and it has B.A.S.S. on it, (won't go over well). Plus one FLW t-shirt. I want to represent Nitro well for the board. I promise to return it clean and in perfect shape! Now to start planning what to do with that Ranger once I win it....how much on trade could I get putting it towards a 911? Kidding, time to get serious.

rob i just won my club event out of ti last sunday. i had decent weight. it was a three fish weigh in. i had 13 lbs. my 6 best were just under 23 lbs. this is the best day i've had on champlain and very fortunate to be during a tourn. i found the fish the day before and they were still there the next day. where is the everstart out of? stan

Gotta say Rob, jon is right....You are not fishing "Against" any of those guys, your fishing against yourself. None of them will have anything to do with the fish you bring to the scales. It's good to be confident, but stay focused on what you are doing, and that is fishing....beat the fish!

Everytime I start to complicate things during tournaments like trying to figure out what the fish are doing, or what the other anglers are doing, I remind myself by simply saying ""Shut up and fish"" Go get'em...the fish I mean!

Pierre

Rob, Keep your eye on the prize!!! And the fish!

Stan, Congrats on winning your club event. Looks like you got into some "quality" fish for sure!! I have not had a day like that on Champlain yet, but I keep trying!

That whole MI crew is a tough gang!!!...Neil Vandebeizen pre-fishes with and for KVD when there's a tournament on 'Clair. You'll have fun....good luck...
