OK OK OK....I edited a picture a little. My knot is just like a Improved Clinch Knot...BUT....it IS stronger because the line passes through the eye 2 times.

If there is not another name for my knot...then I hearby name it the "Buck Knot".

I have tied this knot for years...then I just stopped doublin' it through the eye a couple years ago...and then when Rob reminded me....I went back to doublin' through the eye.

lol...why is it so small? Check my librairy if ya want to see it.

I've been using that knot since I was about 4 (when I started fishing). Never had a problem with it until I started fishing with braided line. For some reason that knot started failing once in a while when I was throwing buzzbaits. Don't know the reason, but you could tell from the curly cue on the end of the line after it broke. Started using the Palomar Knot on braided line after that with no more problems. Still use the Buck Knot for mono.

Great pic of knot. Maybe we can get Rich to make a "riggin" section on this site for knots, lure setups, tactics, instructional etc...

James D. Thats a great idea about knots and lures section. Cause I have no idea what people are talking about when they speak of Texas rigs and such. Nominal

Jamey,

I pass mine through the eye three times and call it "My Knot Is Better Than Jamey's Knot By 50%"!!!

Didn't catch any big fish on Saturday. We caught three 2+ pounders - one each. Caught a lot of dinks. Did yard work today.
