Well i got my boat back from the shop. For those that dont remember My engine quit during a high speed (for me) run. It would not fire just crank, i took it to the shop and the mechnic tried to get it to fire and no luck, i left it with him and the next day it fired right up and ran perfect for an hour, he did this for 5 days and could not find anything wrong. Would you be concered about running far from the ramp, My trolling motor will run for ever if it has to. I Dont know what went wrong and i dont think it fixed itself. whats your opionin.

Closed gas tank vent. A vaccuum builds up and all of a sudden no fuel to the motor.

I would remove the cowling, start it up and start jiggling wires.Especially around the kill switch and ignition.

Just start wiggling and pulling(easily)on every wire you can get your hands on.

Me! has a good point. Could be a bad connection at the battery also.

I checked the vent on the water and it seemed fine, it did not breathe when i opened the gas cap either, I did the jiggle test when i got home from the tourny and could not figure it out, so i took it in to the shop. My battry had to have been fine cause it was cranking at full power and checked out fine. But i will double check everything, thanks for the input guys.
