I broke the lower 3/4 in off the bottom of me lower unit. I know I can have it repaired, but how much should it cost to fix? I guess it's called the skag. Also can I just grind ot smooth and let it go?

hey .. one last thing, it is also bent a littlr bit at the bottom. Please lety me know what my options are ... Thanks.

You can buy one, have it welded on, and painted. Probably should too. The skeg protects your prop, also helps with steering. If you hit something that hard, be sure to check your transom for cracks, and the seals in the lower unit. Good luck.
