Marty,
I replaced the transducer with the one that came with the unit, but it runs for about 30 seconds and locks up on me. So, to answer the question, yes, I fixed the original problem but now can't seem to keep the thing from locking up on the lake.
If you know anything about FFs, i would love to discuss it with you.
