One more folks........There are knocking sounds coming from what seems to be in the wheel well areas. At first I thought maybe there was something wrong with the wheels. I jacked it up and pulled and shook everything around but the wheels and brakes all seem tight. I'm wondering if it could be worn out front shock absorbers. would they make these kinds of noises if they were worn? Any ideas? Thanks

If the bushings are gone or the shock has no fluid left they can make a knocking noise while going over bumpy roads. Do you feel as well as hear the knocking noise (like in the floor or steering wheel)?

I don't feel anything in the steering wheel. I can't really say I feel it in the floor either. Thanks

One other thing to look at, check the shocks and make sure they are mounted tight. a loose shock will rattle like crazy but you wont feel it in the wheel.

Are y'all sure on the ball joints if I don't feel it in the steering wheel?

if not ball, check universal...

could also be loose exhaust pipes.....

Check the sway bar links, they can cause a knock when bad or broken.
