Well guys, after much blood, sweat, and tears I have gone and done it. I just got home yesterday with a 98 896 with a 200 EFI. To make a long story short I ended up buying the boat out in Indiana from the dealer who first gave me the run around. He contacted me and made amends concerning his attitude. So I decided to take a ride out to see the boat.

She looked great. A few scratches, and only one that could use some extra Gelcoat thrown on it. All in all I fell in love with the boat. Maybe later tonight I will post some pics. She is red, black, and all sparkely... LOL Them bass better love dem sparkles. :)

I feel complete once again!

Jason - Ahh, Man, and I said I woundn't cry!!!

Glad to see you got yourself a new ride and WHAT a ride at that!!!

Enjoy!

Nice boat...congrats...let's see some pics...the boat...some fish...(and oh yeah, I guess so,) you!

Sweet. Glad to hear it. We were wondering where you were. Were you able to get him down on price?

He didn't come down on price, but he did throw in some goodies like a spair tire.

I have to say Indiana was a beautiful state. Ohio was too long and penn was nice as well. The whole way home I was like hell yeah, I got a nitro on the back of this blazer! :)

so you hit the Pa construction then on 80?every year they do a small section, when there done, its time to do it over!same on 81 also! sucks when pulling the boat through the narrows with the jersey barriers there!

glad you got what you wanted.

Good to hear you finally got your rig! Congratulations!!

Congratulations! I bet that was one PROUD drive home, and one you'll never forget, too! Ok, I admit it, when my oldest son and I picked up our new boat this spring, I took the longest, slowest route home, it was such a great moment, and my son kept looking back at it like, "is it really back there?" Anyway, I wish you many years of fun and safety with it, and of course, lots of BIG fish! Again, congrats! egMike

jason,

hope this one works out better for you. Did the dealer throw in a free chain saw? ;) take care and good luck with her.

LOL!!! You guys are toooooo much!!!

Mo, I did the same exact thing... Stopping every 3 hours for gas was NO problem for me, cause I got to stare at her again. :)

Magna yeah I hit it... Was no big issue since I did most of the drive at night. Besides just gave me another reason to look in the rear views... ;)

James your too much dude! HAHAHA

Here is a pic of her..

Very, very nice...again, congrats...You're gonna love being a "Nitro/Tracker" Guy...

Looks Great Jason!

Being a Hoosier by birth, I probably shouldn't mention this...but, did the original owner not know the difference between the "1" and the "I" when he put the registration numbers on her? oops

hey, not just Hoosiers make mistakes! right Neeley?

hahahaha
