When i was at Table Rock in March they said something about a license i'll have to get before I can drive my boat in Missouri. There is an age limit, i'm not sure how old but I know i have to get one.

I cant remember if its a 2005 thing or if its for 2006.

Does anyone know what it is or how i get one?

You need to get tested for the license if you were born after January 1, 1984

Here is the information from the Missouri Water Patrol

New Boater Education Law

Beginning January 1, 2005, all persons born after January 1, 1984, who operate any vessel on the lakes of the state of Missouri must have on board his/her boating safety identification card issued by the Missouri State Water Patrol (MSWP). The card is obtained by successfully completing a boating safety course approved by the MSWP. Beginning January 1, 2006, the boating safety identification card requirement also applies to nonresidents. Beginning January 1, 2006, nonresidents may obtain a 30-day non-renewable temporary permit for the purpose of renting a vessel, in lieu of the boating safety identification card requirement above by passing an examination approved by the MSWP.
