Hey Mike, just my 2 cents worth,but the things you need to ask yourself are, are you going to be keeping the boat for an extended period of time to where the savings are going to make up for the initial expense? and are you in an area where if you are not going to keep the boat for an extended period is the opti going to help with the resale of the boat? and are you goimg to fish it enough in the next couple of years for fuel savings to offset the cost? Personally I like the new opti's and when i purchase my next one it will be on the rear, just because I plan on keeping it for the extended period where it will help itself in the long run!

Thanks Tim...I do plan on keeping it for an extended period of time and fish many tournaments.I fish some big waters where I have to run great distances at times to get to my spots, that is why I am leaning toward the Opti.
