I went to a small local lake with my buddy. I boated 14, lost 3, and broke off a nice one on the hookset(knot failure). My buddy got 2, and lost 2. 12 of my 14 came on stick-o's, 1 on a tube and 1 on a jerkbait. I had a great day on the water, I just wish they were bigger. the biggest was maybe 16", only 3 were smaller than 14".

Sounds great Gene. I was on Champlain for opening day. I have my first tourney of the season tonight. I'm hoping for at least 5 14" bass but I would be happy with more...LOL

There is a charity open on Lobdell Lake(Grand Blanc area) on June 12. All proceeds go to cancer research. Team event, $125/team, $1000 gauranteed 1st place. Come on down.

I would love to, Marke. Unfortunatly after the flood in the basement, drying all the carpet and pad over the last week or so. My wife now wants to rip all the carpet out and ceramic tile the entire basement. My knee's hurt just thinking about it. Anyone want to help? I hear it's alot of fun...really it is. Please?

I hear ya Gene. Kathy and I are moving into an "apartment" at her mom's, and we're putting new tile in the kitchen and bathroom, carpet in the bedroom, and a pergo wood floor in the living room (it has real knotty pine paneling, so it'll look pretty cool). We're trying to do it a couple hours at night after work, plus weekends. Can't wait 'till it's done. We'll have a 10 minute drive to work instead of 45, and it's on a private 100 acre lake.
