That's right, I said it! Sue me. Remember the reason for the season. And don't forget those that are serving here and abroad for you to enjoy what freedoms you have left!
We still have troops sleeping in ditches and eating MRE's, that won't see their loved ones for the holidays. And don't forget those of us that lace up our duty boots, put on our weapon and badge and serve right here protecting you from the bad guys here at home. A LOT of people seem to forget that while they're opening presents and stuffing their faces, some of us are still on patrol, sitting in a squad car, maintaining a maximum security prison, or watching the borders.
So here's to the armed forces, troopers, deputies, correction officers, border agents, PD, and all law enforcement that will leave their families to work the holidays.
