Maybe a RALLY good idea!!!!

Since the board membership has grown enormously and extends across the US and into Canada........



Why not divide the country up into regions, including Canada, have regional councils that would put together aa annual rally in their region then have an annual or biannual "BIG" rally near the birthplace of Nitro/Tracker Owners Web Site, Georgia? The regional rallies would be at different location within each region each year.



The board is getting large enough to support something like this. Just need people to take charge.

Either regional tournaments or one somewhere in the middle of the countyr. Springfield MO. Maybe? That way we can all visit the "holy land" and maybe get more recognition or prize stuff from our favorite boat builder and equipment purveyor...

I'll give a bit of history for those who might not know the full rally storie. A few years ago, some of the guys that came to this site decided to put a website "meet" to allow some of the members to meet face to face. At the time, Chris (I beleive) took the lead to organize this "tournament" which took place on in misoury. I was one of the people that promissed tomake it, but because of tight tournament dates and such I could'nt do it. This tournament was so succesfull for the people who participated, that they vowed to do it again, and have a yearly or annual rally. I offered to organize the second annual 'cause I felt bad for not making the first one, and hoped that more people would take advantage of a low Canadian dollar to come a fish a Canadian lake at a relatively low cost. At that time Rob jump in and offered Lake Champlain as a host lake and, based on that great reputation the general concensus was to have the tournament there.



O.k. so that's that! If I remember correctly, the intent was to "stagger" the rally around to allow access to many people every second year or so. This year it's in the northeast, next year down south somewhere...there seems to be a movement for Carolina or Florida ???



Sam, Your idea is a good one, however, I offer the following:



It's hard to get everyone toghether, due to tournament season and...life!

Organizing these is alot of work. (Kudos to Rob for taking the lead in this...I have only played a minor support role)

I think it's time this rally is held close to it's birthplace, I would hope to see it happening around the countrie(s) to allow everyone a chance to attend, and visit new lakes.



I would do my part in this...maybe a vote should be taken.
