I was surfing through the new Nitro site and spotted this listed in the standard equipment . I

Since it's "standard equipment".....

I'd guess that the Marketing Department has decided to dream up a fancy name and apply it to something dull and ordinary to make it sound like something extrordinary.....

P.S.

Am I the only one who wonders why Tracker considers only the 9-series boats to be "Tournament" boats?

Are the NX series boats inadequate for competition?

Are the 9-series too much boat for the weekend angler?

Where's George Carlin when I need him?

The reason for the 9 series being the tournament boats is that the lesser boats (fiberglass) have wood in them, and there were so many people listening to "fish the wood structure" speech and were fishing in the bilge area. Needless to say, they didn't do well.

The NX series doesn't comes with HUMMINGBIRD electronics. It also only has a standard 500gph bilge pump and that's not enough for a tournament angler! A 43 gallon livewell? The TOURNAMENT boats have 2 18 gallon livewells, and they're insulated, so your fish don't get too cold.

The TOURNAMENT boats can have a 300hp motor, while the lowly nx series gets 225. Far be it from me to point out that several tournament trails prohibit motors over 250hp, but maybe those are the crappy tourneys :).

The comparisons are the 929 vs the 898.

Besides, does Skeeter even OFFER a tournament boat? :)

Them fishies ain't gonna be seen in no short boat. Bigger boats means bigger fishies.
