Well, Marke left the house at about 7:45 this morning with a 6 pack of Guiness and a cooler full of seafood for when he arrives at his final destination. It was a great weekend. The fishing could have been better, but as Bob said, we didn't get skunked, there was beer, BBQ, and friends. Can't really ask for too much more. Although we've all only known each other a year in person and 2 on the site, it seems when we get together that we're all long time friends. I do have some pics from Saturday but have to get them developed this week and then I'll post them. Doug and I did OK on Saturday, and Buzz caught some nice fish......Marke, well Marke saved his best for last on Sunday! Alas, I apologize, I did not put them on the quality fish I wanted to. Now could those 2 learn to jig fish.....well it would have been different! LOL Anyhow, best of luck to Marke and his family with their move. Thanks to everyone for coming and to Buzz for helping with supplies and Bob and his wife for the awesome baked snacks and venison and to Doug for the BEER! To be associated with such of great group of folks is terrific and is only possible because of this site! We are winding down our season here, if anyone wants to come up for one last time on the water. Please make it soon as I am about to winterize the boat in a few weeks and trade it for my guns and dogs. I look forward already to hosting many of you next year from a new and BIGGER home.
