Marke: Curious about boat price

If you're not too busy signing paperwork to sell a boat, I'm trying to track down a price for:



Tracker 16' all-welded jon boat with or without the mod-v hull (They used to be called the Sportsman when they were rivited).



WITH a trailer, but not an outboard.



I tried to get it off the Tracker boats site, but all they have up is a fifteen foot Grizzly. I'm going to try to convince my father-in-law to replace his rivited (and much abused) jon boat with an all-welded one.

If your dad wants one and you can come to terms with Marke... I have a flexible schedule and want to go up to Detroit for some "light business". I would be happy to pick up a boat and trailer and haul it down to Springfield, Il and turn it over. I am headed to Quincy,. IL on the Wed or Thursday of Feb 6-8th... So I could get up to Marke anytime before then and make the pick up...

Don't forget though, the Grizzly is a LOT more boat than the old sportsman. It's a world of difference.

We've got a planning meeting next week for our upcoming trout trip. My father- and brother-in-law and I will be sitting around the same table talking boats and fishing.



The situation is that we've abused this '87 Sportsman to the point were the braces are cracking and it's developed a pretty severe case of the leaks. I've already replaced the transom once. It's mismatched to the trailer. Now we're going to have to pull up the plywood decking we installed and replace that.



However, we're just in the preliminary stage of talks to repair or replace it. I'm just gathering information to share at this point, and I knew Marke would be kind enough to help.



Marke: Did Tracker quit making rivited jon boats?

I have not seen them but my sources tell me that the Topper Jon boats and the Guide V row boats are still riveted.



Just get the Grizzly, you couldn't abuse that boat if you tried.
