I have read several posts about a rally next year in the mid-America region. Lots of talk about the Missouri lakes. I have fished in a lot of states but not once in Missouri so I would really be interested. My only request is that maps are published for the lake we're fishing. I hate going to someplace blind.

I guess another idea is to have one out west, mid-America, and out-east. We could have three on the same weekend. That way there could be a rally closer to all.

I had prior commitments this year but I still would not have driven from KY to the edge of the earth where this rally is. I know it is close to impossible for guys to drive there from California or even Texas. It would be great if a person pulling a boat could travel less than a day to get to a rally.

Just my 2 cents.

I'm with you Bear, just posted a note on the idea of the Southern rally the same thing - I need to keep it less than a full days travel.

I like the idea of a West, midwest and east coast and the same weekend sounds great. We could set a time on Saturday evening when we could do a web-chat from laptops and check in.

Don...what's wrong with Mark Twain? Just wondering.

Personally, think Mark Twain/Table Rock/Lake of the Ozarks would be great choices for the Midwest.

Obviously, living in Texas, I would love to see a rally here. We have some world-renowned lakes that always serve as great hosts to tournaments. Anywhere in the south would be great, though. Some great lakes come to mind that could make for a fun rally...Pickwick, Kentucky Lakes, Ouachita, Tenkiller, etc.

Don,

I'd like to know whats wrong with Mark Twain also. I fish there several times a year and love it. Its a great lake. I fish several tournaments there every year and there are always some good limits weighed in. It can be pretty rough fishing late in the summer....(July, August) but most Missouri lakes are. I'd love to be a part of a Rally on Mark Twain or Lake of the Ozarks. Both would be an excellent choice. Talk to ya later.
