Mac, you don't need to do that. That's not why I sent you the cigars..I lost a bet, remember. By the way did you ever get the humidour to work correctly? If not let me know and I'll talk to my cigar guy.

I know I don't have to Buzz,..but I WANT to give it to you!

I can't wear it anymore and it's still in awesome shape!! I don't want to just get rid of it,....and I already gave my State Team Jackets to Marke and Craig.....so the leather is all yours Bigdog! and yes,...my humidor is working MUCH better now..it's now at @ 75-80% humidity, but it's better than 90%!! I'm not a cigar guy, but next time you guys are in P'burgh during business hours I have to bring you to this cigar shop downtown. They guy is a correction officer, they all dabble in side line businesses. But this whole place is built out of high end wood, a lot of mahogany, and it's like a vault. I thought it would make an awesome gun library, but he has cigars that cost like $75 each. Unreal! I'm sure in Manhattan you can get some that are $500 each, it's all relative. LOL

$500.00 for a cigar????????????????????????????

That ought to come with a "Monica" attached....lol

Mini

Mini when I stay in Manhattan I stay at an economical hotel, at only $325 a night! I had 2 beers, a plate of nachos and a glass of wine and it was $89! I can show you steak house where you won't get out for under $300 per plate. Good thing I eat on the company card!

Have never been to NYC but would like to someday when Mac is making ROCK STAR money....lol

Is there fish in Central Park? lol I know you can get them in the river....

Mini

Mini,...If I EVER start making ROCK STAR money,....the last place we'll go is NYC!!....We're makin' a beeline to the Great Barrier Reef and goin' after Great Whites with Ultra-Lights...ahahah......then from there, we'll stop by Maui on the way home for a couple days of Marlin fishing, and then down to Costa Rica for Sailfish,..Brazil for Peacock's and finally to Hooter's for wings......you bring the Jack!

hahahahaha.......you got it!! I'll let you know when you need to get a passport!!

Mac...

Sounds like you might have too many 'gars in the humidor. They hold quite a bit of moisture and can really jack up the hygrometer.

My target is typically 68-70%. If you have Cubans, though, keep them around 64-65%...they're a little "greasier" by nature.

You'd spit in them, too, if you made what those dudes make!

My "source" for Cubans says the average 'gar roller makes about $15 a month. $20 to the plant manager gets you as many cigars as you can carry out!!

As soon as we get a heat spell and the thermometer breaks the 35deg mark,..I'll go outside and spark one up,..haven't had a good 'gar in a couple weeks....it's been too cold!!! You could be right Adam,...I'll spread'em around a little in the humidor.....right now they're all on the top shelf!

Thanks for the tip!! BTW,...$15/month??!!...Man,..the ol'lady next door pays her cuban $40/week to mow her lawn!!!!
