Do you guys know, or do you have a contact at BPS that would know, how far in advance should I have tanks set up with water for the temps to get in line and the fish aclimate to it? I am having the NYDEC bring in tanks to the local Wally world for me to do a weekend of seminars for them, but I know you can't just drop the tank of Friday night and expect the fish to be ready Saturday morning. But at the same time, Wal-Mart does not want to tie up a huge part of their main isle with a tank with nothing happening for a week either. This will be my first time on an actual tank. I have talked at shows before and meetings, but on lure prep, casting/pitching etc. Never needed anything but my gear.

I have no idea,..but I would think that would be the NYDEC's responsibility to get it set up and ready to go.

Neeley can ask Scott,..our Tank guru, and get that info for you, but I don't know any of those details!! Sorry dude!

I thought that too, but I am not leaving anything to chance. If you saw some of the individuals that NY state puts in their employment especially postitions that require some in depth knowledge, you wouldn't trust them either! LOL They would probably not even show up until the day I needed it! I want to be able to tell them when to be there, when it's done and be able to tell Wal-Mart all the details. Thanks though. If Mini can get me Scott's #, I would appreciate it.

the stores phone number is 248-209-4200...just ask for "Scott Moody".....they'll page him or he'll call you back!!

Rob,

Scott should be able to give you some hints, but make sure that WalMart is footing the bill for the "extras". There is achemical treatment to rid the tank of chlorine and other "contaminents". Who is bringing the fish?

Or are you fishing fishless waters again? lol

Corona? Warm? Just dont set your beer down near me Rob.....I might mistake it for my spit bottle.

Mini

DEC brings the tank and the fish. Wal-Mart is paying any incidental costs since I am donating the time to do it at no charge. I might ask for some clearanced Daiwa reels though! LOL Fishless waters, never seen one, but then again, I haven't been to MI YET! LOL

Mi.
