(BULLETIN BOARD: OUTD) , has announced the creation of Ultimate Match Fishing (UMF), an exciting, new bass fishing event that will pit 12 of the nation's best professional bass anglers against each other in head-to-head, seeded, bracketed, single elimination competition. The made-for-television event will be an original TOC production, hosted by 20-year professional angler and host of TOC's Angler on Tour, Joe Thomas.



"The UMF competition will take place on Kentucky Lake in April and May of 2005; with the 13-episode series broadcast beginning in July, 2005. The Moors Resort and Marina will host the tournament."

The rally will be May 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th, 2005.



Please..... I was serious about making reservations now if you are thinking of going..... Even if you have to back out, someone else here will take your reservation or Shirley will take care of you. Just ask Neeley!



We have a limited number of rooms being held for us; if we are going to need more, we have to put on an early showing.



Be sure to ask for Shirley and say you're with the NTOWS.

I talked to Shirley this afternoon, they are SO excited about this you wouldn't believe it! Joe Thomas has apparently stayed there several times while he fished Kentucky lake and, when the idea for the show came down, he gave them a call out of the blue!



Shirley confirmed that, with the activity going on there for the show, they expect to be fully booked early in the season.



She will not be able to hold unspoken-for rooms for us like she did last year.



Make your reservations ASAP.

She will work with us on any cancellations.
