Guys, I have a Lowrance LMS520C as my main unit (w/GPS puck) on my PT185. I have two questions.
1. What would be a good companion unit for the front seat? I assume it would be networked with existing unit and utlize same sensor. Don't need GPS in front. Would like a little description of what I'd need to network together.
2. Current sensor is mounted on bottom of transon but seems to catch some air due to the way the hull is designed. There's a little edge forward from the transom under the boat that seems to cavitate at speeds. Any easier way to mount that or get around w/out doing too much changing of existing stuff? Thinking like some kind of extender to lower the sensor or something.
