Live Well Problem

Got a problem with my 98 pt 175. Live well has to be primed to fill and once filled the auto switch blinks and pump won't work. Just seems to make a noise like its trying but cant get any water. Any ideas?

I don't know what kind of plumbing system you have but on my 2001 I had multiple problems with the 3 way Flow-Rite valve that opened and closed the drain. I replaced the valve several times. I ended up having the whole livewell replumbed with diffrent components.



One thing that may help is to get a rubber plug for the drain inside your livewell. This will prevent air from be sucked into the 3-way valve.
