(tin guys, kindly disregard, we already know if we bought a "real boat" that we wouldn't have this problem !!)

What to do about those annoying surface scratches in the gel coat?

The ones from the treelimbs, and possibly scraping the dock.

These aren't deep, you can barely feel them with the fingers, but against the red "sparkleys" the white scratch(es) are really aggervatin!

Any thoughts on covering or repairing them? Tryed to wax them with a paste wax, but that just made them shiny!

Thanks!

what kind of toothpaste? Crest? Minty fresh? Whitening?

(or does it matter?)

I also use WD-40 on the lower unit. After a day of fishing it always gets that white film and WD-40 will clean it and shine it too.

Wow, this is all so foriegn to me. I have no idea what you glass guys are talking about.

Oh well, have fun swapping your Betty Crocker recipes and Grandpa's secret home remidies....I'm going fishing )
