Leave the Oreos at home...

Pretty soon we're going to need a message board category dedicated just to the whackiness of California:



A suit was filed today in San Fransisco by a public interest lawyer. The purpose of the suit? To prevent kids in California from eating Oreo cookies.



Apparently, Oreos have high trans-fat content, a key ingredient in coronary disease. This attorney is going to make sure we all know that by causing a stink over kids eating Oreos.



Pile a few kids into the SUV, tow your 2 stroke powered boat to the nearest lake, take 'em out for a day of fishing, and hand out plenty of Oreos to keep 'em happy. Twenty years ago, that made you a good parent. Nowadays, in California, you'd be a social pariah flirting with felony charges for endangering minors.

hey that throwaway bottel comes in handy for stuffing all that line people throw into the water in big balls that hang up on your crankbait hooks, trolling motor prop ect. and I guess my arteries are toast I almost always have oreos on board for a sugar charge when my battery is running low.

Hey I'll betcha there's ONE huge short term effect this idiot lawyer will have on the Oreo market - I'm STOCKINGUP!!! Yup, gota 10am meeting then getting my oil changed and stopping by Kroger for a CASE of those things!!!

Just a note to those here on the board. Anytime you bring up the topic of snacks, TrepMan will be there for sure. You won't believe the amount of snacks this skinny guy can pack away in a day.



When we worked at GTE, he kept a filing cabinet full! Everyone on the floor knew where to go in an emergency. When he talks about buying a case, he's not fooling!



The only guy I know that uses a flat pallet dolly in Sams and never leaves the snack/candy aisle.
