Lake Fork Weekend

I hope to have my new boat by the cookout (NX 882 Dc/150 EFI). I was wondering if SOMEONE would like to show me the ins and outs of Lake Fork. Would'nt want to run agroung or hit a stump the first day out.Would surely appreciate it.

Where will everyone be at Fork? Any certain marina?

The word I got is that Lake Fork Marina is booked for that weekend. You can try Lake Fork Lunker Lodge at 903-765-2987 or Axton's Bass City at 903-473-7224.



If neither place has any room, let me know. I have other numbers of motels around the area. Showing you around the area is no problem as I have been there a number of times and Kraig I think practically lives there. (lucky guy)



This should be a really fun weekend with a lot of fish caught.

havn't found any info on the "lunker lodge". is it in the same general area on the west fork of the lake in the upper end?

Lake Fork Lunker lodge is Hwy 17 as is Lake Fork Marina and is between there and the public landing. All of the Marinas have their own landings so that is no problem.



Try that one and see if they have any rooms. If anyone finds rooms they should book a few extra so other guys can get a room.

I just talked to Ed at the house where I am staying. He said he has 2 bdrooms available for the weekend. The cost is $100.00 pr night. I think there are 5 of you looking for a room. This would mean $20.00 each pr night. Each room has 2 beds and there are a couple of bathrooms and we also would have the use of the kitchen too.



Ed's partner is staying at the house and so is he so they would have the other bedroom.



It would be a good deal as we would all be together and could than have a great meet on Fri. and a real good cookout on Sat. Let me know right away if it works for you so I can get back to Ed ASAP. I sent you each a E-mail also.

Try Hide away Harbor or Quail Hollow... both good places to stay and both have camping also. Both are next to each other and both have ramps....

I'm down with Bob's last idea! Would be cool if we could all be in the same general area. The addition of a kitchen will be helpful as well.
