I was up there the last two Sept.s for the Ever Start. I camped but from what I heard there was nothing "cost effective" during a tournament. July would be a good month to camp. A lot of guys did that to save a bunch of $. If you decide to go that way I stayed a Shady Oak RV Park. It's a driver and a 7 iron from the interstate right in Plattsburgh

There is a Econo Lodge loacated on Route 9 just north of the city, right next to a Stewarts Gas Station. Prices were about 60.00 a night. Theres plenty of parking and there are hookups outside for recharging the boat batteries. Very easy to get to the boat luanch from there, 10 minutes maybe.

Thank You both. I camped last year and the Skeeter's (bugs not boats) liked to eat me alive. Moving indoors this year..
