Lake Anna is hosting the first Wounded Warrior Tournament for soldiers coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan. It will be on the 27th of September 2008, sponsored by The USO, Dicks Sporting goods, Anna Cabanna, Anna Point Marina, Ken's Guide Service. They are expecting 50 Vets+ families. Volunteers are needed as boat captains to take a soldier out on the water for a relaxing day filled with joy and blessings. Or volunteers can assist with on shore task to make this first event a success. Thanks in advance for considering my call for assistance in support of our troops".

Ken called the house tonight. I was out to dinner. Leaving again tomorrow morning for another road trip:wacko: I'm going to try to make it but I can't committ because of work. I have already started cancelling guide trips which really reeks but I have a bigger responsibilty to Uncle Sam and this one is a bit dangerous so they need my help in a bad kinda way. I'll post more info when I get back. I also have been asked to go to BPS on the night of the 2nd and 3rd to help escort Rick Clunn, Jimmy Houston and a few more names. I'll probably be in Richmond every night for the Grand Opening. They want someone on the tank and I'm it. Pro Staff has been frozen until the 1st of the year (no hires or transfers) so I don't know if I will be transferring up to that store yet.

Darn! Wish I could be there (both the Lake Anna event AND the BPS opening). But as the reasons will be fall vacation, hard to be too upset!
