Kidde Fire Extinguisher Recall

Something like 35 million extinguishers are being recalled. Be sure to check your boat extinguisher. Good chance it is a Kidde or rebranded Kidde affected by the recall.

yup, my wife works for Cintas Fire & Safety. She told me a couple weeks ago, all plastic top valve/handle units are being replaced with metal top units. Guess my boat & summer home are getting all units swapped out in spring via the recall. Fortunately my primary home has all Ansul cart-ops.
