Ken,
Need your opinion. I have a Targa 18, that I need to have some work on. One would be to purchase and then have replaced the current console Hummingbird with a Garmin. The other is to address several 'bilge area' problems. I need one of the flowrite valves replaced (stuck open - probably broken as I have flushed and checked the linkage to the valve). Also need to have an auto overflow hose and connection added to the real livewell.
My question to you:
Are these items that BPS would generally take on. Not yours specifically, but in general? I don't have the 'drive' to undertake this type of work anymore. Gotten too old and lazy I guess. We have a BPS in the Charlotte area, but I get the general 'impression' that they are not really interested in doing this type of work. Gotten the same impression from another Tracker dealer.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm probably going to have this done sometime this winter, when the overall boating industry (repair and maintenance wise) is slower. And I'm not fishing as much.
Thanks.
