Hi guys, I have been reading your forum and I really like it so I decided to join in. I just bought my first tracker. It is a 2005 Targa v17 WT with a 115 Merc on it. I really like the ride, it is really smooth. I am in the deep south and like to fish both the rivers and creeks in the area as well as Lake Ponchartrain so I felt it was the perfect size for both. My questions to you guys are 1) Any there any known issues with that model I need to be aware of? 2) How do the aerator switches work on the livewells?

Thanks,

Joe

The aluminum Targas are one of the more "bullet-proof" lines in Tracker. Good, stable, dry, load carrying hull. Your black 115 (if two stroke 2+2) is another one of the most trusted outboard designs made to date. I believe you should have a two way rocker switch on the panel for your livewell pump. I think up is on and down is cycle (every 90 seconds). Hopefully one of the Targa guys can confirm. Good luck! ;)
