Got invited to go out for 5-6 hours with one of our club members this past Saturday. We went down to Wateree, to do a little scouting/pre-fishing.

After trying some topwater action for awhile, I got out my crankbait rod, with my new Bandit 200 MISTAKE on it. That thing flat caught fish.

While we never really found the largemouth wanting to bite on Saturday, I caught all kinds of fish with that bait, while using it.

First was a monster barn door crappie. Close to 2 lbs. Then several white bass, and lost one smaller LM with it. I didn't fish it constantly, as we were trying different areas/techniques, but boy did it bring hits.

Stopped by BPS yesterday to pick up a few things, and also picked up a 300 series Mistake, along with a few rootbeer rootbeer/chartreuse Bandits.

As noted in threads last week, if you don't have one in your box, you need to get one.

Don't forget the Translucent Tenn. Shad...real fish catcher in clearer water.

OK! Based on TT, Tee, and JR's recomendations I bought a Bandit 200 Mistake and a 100 in Rootbeer. Let's hope they're as good as you guys say. I could use a change in luck.

I have been disappointed in the rootbeer Bandit. Caught them on other cranks but no takers on the Bandit and I leave the Bandit rigged and also throw it a lot but.......
