2001 TRACKER TOURNAMENT V-18 SPECIAL EDITION This Boat has a 90hp Mercury and a Pro Plus Extended Warranty. Dual Console, Stainless Steel Prop.,Custom Cover. There is new Carpet on the Deck, New Live well Valve/Pump, New Live well Cable, New Trim Sending Unit. The Things it Needs are all covered by the Warranty and Extended Warranty, New Fuel Tank, New Troll Battery, the Live Well Still Leaks(another Valve?) Some New Screws (rusty and burred) There is a Screw Under The Dual Console from installation that Sticks out about 1" needs to be Cut Off, the Deck Lids are uneven (since the New Carpet), The Carpet in the Rod Boxes is Wrinkled, There are Holes in the Dry Storage Boxes from the drill for New Rivets(Replaced Twice from New Carpet). This Boat has a Great Attitude in Rough Water, W/90hp it tops out at 38mph(according to a GPS) 45mph (speedometer)?? I have tryed to work with TRACKER to take this wonderfull boat back but they said they sold it to the dealer so I would need to take it up with the dealer, GREAT BACKING TRACKER, THANK YOU!. I would like to SELL this LEMON (Tracker's only) for ONLY $11,000.00

Doesn't sound like "cabin fever" at all...sounds like a guy who paid good $$$ for a boat and likes the way it performs, however, does not like how the manufacturer is handling his problems (which all sound reasonable to me).



That boat is only a year old and already has quite the laundry list of repairs (not to mention the additional list of things that still need to be fixed).



While I'm sure there's another side to the story, it would seem that the only bashing going on is from Tracker.

I'll never understand this... Why on God's Green Earth do people do things like this??!!?!?

I mean what are these people THINKING?? If you're trying to SELL something, you need to be honest but it couldn't hurt to 'accentuate the positive,' ya know??!?!!

Scott...as I'm running late (as usual) for a meeting across town, I'll have to summarize by saying YES, I'm having some difficulties. Most have been repaired, still need some work done to affix the top cap.



Keep in mind, though, my beef isn't with Customer Service. I'll attribute this to a GREAT service manager at the Grapevine BPS. I do blame Nitro mfg, though. A cumulative 4 months in service to fix a boat that should've never left the plant.



Don't take my original reply to Magna's post the wrong way, though. Even if I were 100% satisfied with my 901, I would still agree with the gentleman owning the TV-18.

My 901 WAS the biggest POS ever. Most has been repaired, all should be fixed by November. I'm also trying to sell it...$26,000 FIRM!



No ulterior motives...that guy, like me, was probably just airing his gripes with a crappy boat. He probably won't sell it over the internet, nor will I.

I read that message on BFHP and was going to post a response in the form of a question - asking for more information and what he was hoping to get out of his post. Decided to keep my dog out of the game. Interestingly enough, after 1 day there have been NO follow up posts. Very unusual for BFHP if the words Tracker or Nitro appear!
