Thanks guys. I wasn't looking for a pat on the back, but I do appreciate it.



I was doing some maintenance work last night, and I looked at the member count. I was shocked because we had just passed 1000 recently. A couple of quick database queries confirmed that we are getting about 50 new members a month, thanks to you guys and gals out there spreading the word!

Honest well run site should attract a crowd. When the numbers get large enough, we should have some clout in group discounts (more than now) and the manufactures and product reps will pay a little closer attention (they should anyway). I think it is a fine statement about the caliber of people who populate the board. Proud to be a member. Just wait till we put together a rally for 500 people at huge discounts to go Peacock Bass fishing in the Amazon, or casting for 15 pound Bucket Mouths in Mexico. If we organize, it can happen.

Funny, I was thinking just the opposite. A new show on OLN featured bass fishing in Mexico and El Salto looked like an awesome place to fish!



BTW...I, for one, think the aesthetics of this site make it the best in the industry. Most message boards are clunky and rather unfriendly. Combine Rich's design expertise with a load of great people and you've got a winning formula for success.

I just got thinkin, stop and add up the price for all of this boards boats, motors, trailers and the associated repeat business that goes along with them (bulbs, oil, grease, GAS, tires, etc.,) Now look at all of the tackle in all of those boats(OMG!!!) and the return sales that generates.....Anybody wanna take a shot on what the consumer net worth is of the 1,000+ members on this board. How about their combined buying power. Point being, as an organized buying entity, we got it goin on!!

Shonn asked it this was the site that was run by Rich Stern. I was surprised since he had never visted here before but had heard of you through Basszone which he is active with. Small web huh?
