Question; What kind of camara do I need to post pictures on th internet and library, and were can I get a inexpensive one ? So I can sell my boat..and some other things.I don't need it to buy Mac's boat I need to so my wife will be happy, and we that are married all know how very important that is....$#^%&)(*

you can use a normal camera and then use a scanner to scan them in. scanners are gettin real cheap now. also, the digital cameras should work also.

Mark,

You will either need a digital camera, you can get a cheap one under 100 bucks at any retail electronics store, or a scanner to scan regular pictures as electronic files.

Mark,

If your looking for a digital camera just for the web,all you need is a 1 mega pixal 1024x768 resolution camera.

sony sells a mavica camera that uses a regular floppy disc.

check on ebay.... Im sure you can find one cheap.

good luck

Also remember that if you get your film developed at Wal-Mart, for about only $2 or $3 more you ask them to put all the pics on a CD too. It's great, you get the pics, negatives and a CD to load onto your pc. That way you don't have to buy a digital camera.

Mark - For internet pictures you realy only need a 1/2 megapixel camera or better (below shot is from my $30 1/2 megapixel camera I keep on the boat). Scanners are DIRT CHEAP! I picked up a new one in December for my new PC $19.00!!!! That's 1200X1200dpi!!

It all depends on how much $$ you want to spend. For a digital camera if it's only to keep on the boat for pic's i'd say spend NO MORE then $75. Heck last week I saw a 2.0 megapixel camera for $99!!

You ought to invest in some pic enhancing programs next, and make that bait a little bigger Trep! LOL

Sorry Rob unlike YOU I always tell the TRUTH!!! LOL

Hey - It's 60 degree's here in Boulder, DARN it just NO WATER!!!

Really? When have I not??? This ought to be interesting!

I agree with Rob, if this selling the boat is the only reason for purchasing a digital camera, I would suggest using a regular point and click camera or get a 1X use camera and get the film developed and request the CD.

1. 1X Use Camera (Walmart) $4.99

2. Developing Walmart Color 24 pic roll $3.96

3. CD with Pics $2.00

4. Total Investment to sell boat $9.96 + Tax

5. Boat pics that will last a life time....Priceless

Or have a friend with a digital camera come over and take a pic of your boat for you.

1. Find Friend with Digital camera

2. Invite friend over for Post Superbowl beer and/or dinner depending on how much you like this friend.

3. Ask friend to bring digital camera

4. Buy 6 pack of beer $7.99

5. Have friend take pics before sharing the beer.

6. Upload pics to your PC before friend has second beer.

7. Total Investment to sell boat, six pack of beer $7.99

8. Boat pics that will last a life time....Priceless

Yea, I know it's a bit off but I just love those commercials.

Cass :)

Rob, thanks I did not no that about wall-mart.

Trepman , I hope you sent that poor thing back to its mother.lol

OH geeeez!!...The Jar-Jar Binks pix again!!!..LOL..I hope dat ain't yo'daddy's pimpin' hat!!!

What Trep forgot to mention was picture editing software so that you're not left with pictures of small fish (grin)

OK so when I get back off the road, treat the wife nice and the weather warms up i'm gonna to TRY real hard to catch a BIG fish!!!

Heck No Mac, that's my desert hat!! 'cause the dry streak i'm in fish wise is just like being in the Desert!!!

Trep,

The offer stills stands if you want to fish Champlain. I know a fishing guide in Plattsburgh and he showed me his best fishing spots.

Bob G.

Hey, he is smarter than he looks. Doesn't look all that smart anyway, BUT he is smarter than he looks! LOL Plus Bob, you gotta remember that the fish you and I catch would pull scrawny lil Trep clear into the water! And we'd have to put seatbelts in the boat and strap him in to keep him from blowing out of the boat like a ball cap when on plane.

I can see it now, Trep waterskiing behind a 4lb smallie!! And you know that I will have my digital camera for that one!
