Has anyone here installed a Hotfoot on their 700LX? If so, did you have to replace any cables, or were the original ones long enough?

PS: I've got long legs.

You most likley will have to replace the cable. You will need one two feet longer then the one cutrrently in the boat. When i did my 882 i needed a 14' cable and i had a little extra slack.

Yes just the throttle cable. What i did when i installed mine is i just unplugged the old cable at the motor end and then pulled the old cable back into the boat and tied it up under the deck. The reason i did it this way is if i ever wanted to remove the hotfoot i can put the hand control back with out hacing to reinstall the cable to the hand control box.

When you install the hotfoot let me know how many feet of cable you use. I'm putting one in this winter. Would be helpful. Thanks Ken
