I'm looking into a 288

I'm thinking about buying a nitro 288. Anyone know of any reviews ? Also any thoughts on carb. vs fuel injection 200's thanks for any help!

dont know much about the 288... however... i would defintally go with the EFI over the carb, Turn key starts, better fuel economy, And if you decided to go with the smart craft gauges these will wire right into the 2002 model year and newer EFI's as well as Optimax. For the price difference you cant go wrong with the EFI.

I have a 188 and so far I love it. I used to have a 700LX and after a year of tournament fishing with non boaters along I felt I needed more room to accomadate my fellow anglers. The only problem I have had is that the fuel tank sending unit was bad when I picked up the boat, the dealer informed me about it on delivery...I needed the boat for a tournaament the next day so I took the boat back later to get it fixed. They have to cut a whole in the floor to fix it and would have repaired the fiberglass floor to be just like new except that I told them to just put a round aluminum plate over the whole so that if it ever happened again they would not have to cut a whole all over. The boat fishes just like a bass boat and it is nice to have all the extra room inside the cockpit area for rods and tackle of non-boater fisherman. I would have loved to have gotten the 288 but it would not fit in my garage.
