I'm heading down towards "TOXIC" territory tomorrow (Amissville)to check out and probably purchase a 1998 185 fish n ski with a 120hp hanging off the back. Sounds pretty sweet(low hours, garage kept, etc) and it will meet the familys needs as a compromise boat. I already have my brother lined up to purchase my old TX-17. I'll keep you posted. Wish me luck!

Said Hannibal on the A-Team!!

Sounds like a perfect solution to everyone's problem EXCEPT that 185 is NOT Tin!!! Just so you know Chris, you will NOT be running an INFERIOR product to Tin!!! LOL

A 120 hp motor? Is that a Force? I've got a 125 Merc on back of my 99 185 Sport.

Travis - NOW that's a Bass Boat!!! At 14 your doing well to be fishing out of that boat with dad! And keep your goals and dreams of becoming a professional angler going!!! Personaly IF I every had the money (for the boat and the truck) the 911 with a merc 300 pro would be sweet!!!

Trep- Thank you. I am a very lucky kid that my dad can go fishing with me pretty much on the weekends and on our monthly father-son fishing tourney on ouy local river chain.

Well I went down an checked out the 185 fish n ski yesterday and I am sorry to say I had to pass. It was exactly what I wanted in every way except it did indeed have a Force engine. From what I have heard from you guys and two different dealers I was to scared to plop down that kind of money of a motor and technology that is suspect. So for the time being I am still a tin man, but I'm looking.
